About

Hey there and welcome. I’m the prototypical nice guy, as proclaimed by others, and I despise this label so much. For starters, my wife of 20-plus years would beg to differ. I’m a man, not a guy, or so she says, so who am I to disagree? As my most trusted confidante and a blissful recipient of my affections, she knows what I hide down there, up there and inside, and these pages are my attempt at revealing some of it.

This blog is actually the second iteration of my sexnet presence. Previously I was the author of the unfortunately-named Fruits of Libido which ran from 2008 to 2013. I joke about the name because of all the traffic I used to get from people looking for sexual play involving fruits. It’s cool if that’s your thing, but that blog just was not that. At some point it did make it into the Top 100 Sex Blogs list (kindly maintained by someone else at the time), so I’d like to think my non-fruit related writing found some other readers to please.

I believe that love and sex are two poles of a spectrum that encompasses who I am. Most everything I do fits somewhere along that line. Life is not that simple though. That’s why I write this blog.

We draw a line between who we are and who we are expected to be, either for fear of losing friends and family, or for professional reasons. I really admire and love people who are able to blend the two seamlessly. But as much as I can be a rebel and will occasionally mouth off about who the fuck cares what other people think, I also have my reasons for not being willing to take that risk fully. Meanwhile, I crave more connection with like-minded people.

So here I am. I’ve been married a long time and very happy to be. I’m liberal and open-minded. My sexuality is ever changing and not going anywhere. I like writing erotica from time to time. My wife and I have talked about open relationships ever since we pretty much met. We did dabble in it briefly and it was a positive experience that we would like to repeat, if only life can stop getting in the way.

I have kids who are no longer kids. I work in information technology. I love the outdoors but I also love a good home movie cuddling on the sofa. I have gone through hardships some of you kids can’t even imagine, yet I have so much more still to learn from life and others. I believe in the importance of constantly growing as a person, and allowing the people in your life to do the same. We need both change and stability. I know I do.

Feel free to drop me a note and say hi, either via email or on social media.
